CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : On the second day of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s three-day visit to Dubai, the day began with a breakfast briefing hosted by Indian Consul General Satish Kumar Sivan. In this important meeting, it was agreed to develop a permanent liaison mechanism to ensure continued institutional dialogue between Madhya Pradesh and the UAE.
Chief Minister Yadav stated that the Indian mission could play a decisive role in establishing Madhya Pradesh’s image at the global level under the Brand India initiative. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on organizing an “MP Day” in Dubai, promoting cultural and religious tourism, and encouraging diaspora entrepreneurs to invest in the state.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need for joint efforts in the fields of industry, infrastructure, health, education, and tourism. He also proposed organizing sector-specific roundtables under the leadership of the Indian mission, particularly in the priority sectors of agriculture, textiles, electric vehicles (EVs), logistics, and tourism.
Consul General Sivan shared that efforts would be made to connect MSME entrepreneurs of Madhya Pradesh origin working in Dubai with the state government’s policies. Possibilities for collaboration in technical education and skill development, especially in the fields of EVs and solar energy, were also highlighted.
Senior officials from the Madhya Pradesh government were present at the meeting.
