CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Students of the B.Sc. Nursing Department at Bhabha University today organised a tree plantation programme on the campus.
The programme was inaugurated by university CEO Prasad Pillai and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Bharti Satankar.
The green initiative was organised under the guidance of Prof. Gomti, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and all teachers of the Nursing Department.
On the occasion, students planted various shade-giving and fruit-bearing saplings while spreading the message of environmental conservation. All participants also took a pledge to protect trees.
The university administration appreciated the event and said such programmes help develop a sense of social responsibility among students.
