CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The launch of the software developed by Barkatullah University, Bhopal, for one-click verification of alumni documents, took place at the Raj Bhavan, Madhya Pradesh, under the esteemed presence of the Chancellor and Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mangubhai Patel. Officials, faculty members, and technical experts from Barkatullah University were also present during the event. The Chancellor inaugurated the software digitally by pressing a button on the platform.

The program began with Professor S.K. Jain, the Vice-Chancellor of Barkatullah University, providing a detailed explanation of the software developed by the university for “One-Click Digital Verification of Mark Sheets.” He highlighted the benefits for students, including time and cost savings. During the event, Professor S.K. Jain emphasized that Barkatullah University is continuously striving to provide such facilities for the welfare of its students.

He also praised the Chancellor and Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel, as well as the Raj Bhavan, for consistently encouraging and supporting initiatives that benefit students. The Vice-Chancellor noted that the university is actively promoting innovative methods and working towards the development of the institution. The university is also advancing in digital evaluation processes.

Governor Mangubhai Patel stated that the software developed by Barkatullah University will not only benefit students of the university but also allow other universities in the state to verify mark sheets digitally from home with complete transparency. This will save both time and money while avoiding multiple challenges. He commended the university for its continuous work in this direction, including the use of DigiLocker and other digital platforms for student welfare. The Governor congratulated Professor S.K. Jain, all faculty members, officials, and students involved in this digitalization initiative. The launch was also demonstrated on the screen through a single click.

Earlier in the program, Professor S.K. Jain welcomed Governor Mangubhai Patel with a bouquet and ceremonial attire. The event also included discussions with department heads regarding initiatives for student welfare and societal development, such as Green Campus, Biodiversity, Yoga, and the Computer Centre, with officials from Raj Bhavan interacting with the faculty. Engineers involved in developing the software were also present. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Anil Sharma, Secretary of the University.
