The incident took place on Friday morning at a house near Nehru Chowk under the City Kotwali police station area. The deceased were identified as Rakesh Gupta (45) and his son Om Gupta (24). Current suspected from high-tension line

In the preliminary investigation, officials suspect that current spread from an 11,000 kV high-tension line passing near the house.
