CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In Radharaman Ayurveda Medical College Research Hospital, the cadaveric oath was administered to the students of BAMS by the Anatomy Department.
The purpose of this oath is to instill in students a lifelong commitment to treat human cadavers with utmost respect, maintain the confidentiality of the cadaver, and utilize the knowledge gained from the sacrifice made by the deceased and their families for the betterment of society.
Principal Bhupendra Mishra, Vice-Principal Pramendra Raghuwanshi, and Dr. Puja Shakya administered this oath to the students.
During this ceremony, Dr. Bhupendra mentioned that the human body (cadaver) is often referred to as the first teacher of every physician because it is through the human body that medical students gain knowledge of professional principles, conduct, and compassionate behavior.
