CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Canal Cleaning and Water Dialogue Program under Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign 2025
Under the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign 2025, a canal cleaning program was organized in the Chunabhatti area under the joint aegis of the District Administration and Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad. The objective of this initiative was to raise public awareness about the cleanliness and conservation of water resources.
On this occasion, SDM Archana Sharma, Tehsildar, regional coordinators of the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad Amitabh Srivastava and Varun Acharya, along with several dignitaries, were present.
The program began with the cleaning of the canal, with active participation from the students of Pt. Khushilal Sharma Ayurvedic College, Bhopal Municipal Corporation, and the Water Resources Department. A large number of children enthusiastically participated in the campaign.
During the program, a “Water Dialogue” session was also held, where local community members shared their thoughts on water conservation. All participants were also administered an oath to conserve water.
Students from the Chief Minister’s Community Leadership Development Program, representatives from various institutions, and district and block-level coordinators also participated in large numbers.
