CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: The two-day mega career guidance programme, CareerNext – Career Discovery Industry Boot Camp, organised by Scope Global Skills University and Rabindranath Tagore University, opened grandly at Marriott Hotel DB Mall, Bhopal. A large number of students, parents and young participants attended the event with enthusiasm.
During the programme, students were introduced to career opportunities in AI, technology, management, animation, design, media, entrepreneurship and other modern fields. They also got an opportunity for industry networking, career counselling and direct interaction with experts.
On the first day of the programme, noted experts from different sectors shared their experiences. These included Yashwant Padakanti, Vice President, Next Wave Technologies; Sanjay Khanduja of CII; Hemant Gupta, Director, Living Lab Institute; Vinay Kumar of Grant Thornton India; Alap Ghosher, CEO of IMVentures; Joshua Newman, Vice President, MSEED Mumbai; and Sandeep Shetty, associated with Reliance Entertainment. They shared key insights with students on real industry requirements, emerging career options and the skills needed for success.
Yashwant Padakanti, Vice President, Next Wave Technologies, said that technology has now become the foundation of every industry. In such a situation, students should not limit themselves to academic knowledge alone, but should also focus on new technologies, digital skills and practical experience. He said there are limitless career opportunities in the technology sector for young people who are ready to keep learning and stay updated.

Sanjay Khanduja of CII said that industry today is looking for young people equipped with skills such as problem-solving, innovation and leadership. He said students should focus on understanding industry requirements alongside their studies and prepare themselves accordingly. With the right guidance and skill development, new doors to success can open, he said.
Hemant Gupta, Director, Living Lab Institute, said future jobs will be based not only on knowledge but also on creative thinking, innovation and practical skills. He said students should identify their area of interest and develop expertise in it. A constant desire to learn and the right approach can take them to new heights in their careers, he added.
Vinay Kumar of Grant Thornton India said that industry today is driven by data-based decision-making. In such a scenario, an understanding of business analytics, data interpretation and digital tools has become extremely important for young people. He said modern technical skills provide students with excellent career opportunities across diverse industries and prepare them for future challenges.

Alap Ghosher, CEO of IMVentures, said the entertainment and event industry is evolving rapidly and bringing many new opportunities for youth. He said this sector is especially suitable for those who are eager to learn, network and gain new experiences. With the right skills and dedication, a successful and satisfying career can be built in this industry, he said.
Joshua Newman, Vice President, MSEED Mumbai, said the event and experience industry is expanding rapidly at the global level. He said this sector gives young people the opportunity to develop creativity, leadership and management skills. Through specialised education and industry experience, students can build a strong foundation for a successful career in this field, he added.
Sandeep Shetty, associated with Reliance Entertainment, said animation, media and content creation are among the rapidly emerging career options for young people. He said if students combine their creativity with technical skills, they can get excellent opportunities at both national and international levels. Passion, practice and continuous learning are the keys to success in this field, he added.
