CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: With the aim of enhancing patient convenience at AIIMS Bhopal, a cashless system has been introduced. This convenient arrangement has been made possible through the efforts of AIIMS Bhopal’s Executive Director and CEO, Professor Ajay Singh. Under this new system, patients can now easily avail medical treatment. Upon admission to the hospital, patients or their attendants can easily deposit an amount, which will function as credit for all subsequent tests and examinations during their stay. This eliminates the need for patients to make multiple payments for each test.

Professor Ajay Singh emphasized, “Our goal is to reduce the burden on patients and their families by streamlining the payment process and ensuring that they receive necessary care without financial obstacles. This cashless system not only enhances convenience but also provides mental peace to patients in the healthcare sector.” Additionally, ensuring transparency and fairness in financial transactions, any unused amount from the initial deposit will be refunded immediately to patients or their relatives upon discharge from the hospital. This innovative initiative has received positive feedback from patients who are experiencing the benefits firsthand.

Professor Ajay Singh remarked, “We are delighted to implement this cashless system, which prioritizes the comfort and well-being of our patients. Our ultimate goal is to create a healthcare environment where patients feel supported and empowered as they recover.”
