A Delhi court has granted permission to take him on two days’ transit remand. He will now be produced before the special court in Raipur on 4 November.
After Saurabh Chandrakar was brought to India, the investigating agency completed the legal formalities related to his production and further proceedings. Following the grant of transit remand, the CBI will take him from Delhi to Raipur. There, he will be produced before the special court and further action in the case will be taken.
Saurabh Chandrakar’s name is among the key accused in the Mahadev online betting case. In the investigation of this case, the role of the online betting network and the financial transactions linked to it has been significant. However, a final decision on the allegations in the case will come only after the judicial process. All eyes will be on the production scheduled for 4 November. During the hearing before the special court, the investigating agency will present its position on the further legal process.
