CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India Epress / ITDC News / Agencies, Bhopal: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided an opportunity to make corrections in the List of Candidates (LOC) submitted for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations for the academic session 2026-27. The board opened the correction window from November 2. Schools have been given time until November 7, 2026, to correct any errors in students’ details. No second opportunity for correction will be given after the prescribed deadline.

CBSE has directed all affiliated schools to carefully verify the information of students entered in the LOC. This includes the student’s name, father’s name, mother’s or guardian’s name, date of birth and selected subjects. The board has asked schools to also inform students and their parents about this facility so that errors can be corrected in time.

How can students and parents get corrections made? The correction facility is not available directly to students or parents. Only the concerned school can log in to CBSE’s official portal and make changes in the LOC. Therefore, if a student notices an error in their name, date of birth, parents’ names or subjects, they should immediately contact their school administration.

Checking names and dates of birth is important. The board has advised parents to confirm that their children’s full names have been entered. Instead of abbreviated names, the full name and surname should be included. The date of birth should also be matched with official documents and passports. Checking Class 10 and 12 subjects is especially important, as no opportunity to change them will be provided after the correction window closes. CBSE’s objective is to remove errors from students’ records before the examination and make the Board Examination 2027 process smooth.
