The final phase of training for field trainers under Census 2027 in Bhopal district was successfully completed. During the training, practical sessions were conducted in Ward Nos. 22 and 23 to provide hands-on experience and familiarize trainees with the roles of enumerators and supervisors.

During the mock exercises, all field trainers performed duties as enumerators and supervisors, gaining a detailed understanding of the census process and acquiring practical experience.

On the occasion of the training’s conclusion, District Census Officer Bhavan Gupta and Additional Collector Sumit Kumar Pandey addressed the trainees, providing necessary guidelines and emphasizing the importance of maintaining quality in the work.

In the district, the first phase of Census 2026—namely house listing and housing census—will be conducted from 1 May to 30 May 2026, while the self-enumeration process will take place from 16 April to 30 April 2026.

The training was attended by District Nodal Officer and Master Trainers Surendra Singh Raghuvanshi, Mukesh Napit, Siddhant Jain, Seema, along with Assistant Director N. C. Reji from the Census Directorate and District In-charge Rahul Saini. Participation certificates were also distributed after the training.

Throughout the training period, trainees maintained active participation and discipline. A total of 88 field trainers from two batches completed the training, who will further train approximately 4,500 enumerators and supervisors.
