CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : The Central Bank of India today celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and a patriotic atmosphere at the Regional Office campus, 9 Arera Hills, Bhopal. On this occasion, Bhopal Regional Head, Dheeraj Goyal, hoisted the national flag, and all staff members present sang the national anthem. In his address, he first extended greetings on the 79th Independence Day. He paid tribute to the freedom fighters, stating that Independence Day not only reminds us of the glorious history of our nation but also inspires us to remain alert and committed to our duties. He urged the employees to pledge to provide banking services to the public with simplicity and honesty.
Deputy General Manager (SLBC) Pramod Mishra, in his speech, emphasized that the sacrifices, dedication, and struggles of the freedom fighters secured our independence. He called upon all employees to actively contribute to the progress of the nation. Deputy Regional Head D.K. Pandey stated that Independence Day reminds us of our responsibilities and strengthens our commitment to traditions and values.
During the program, cultural events were organized in which bank employees and their family members participated enthusiastically. Patriotic songs and dance performances created a lively and joyous atmosphere. The ceremony was attended with dignity by staff members and family members from the Regional Office, Area Office, CBOTC Bhopal, and local branches.
During the event, the Regional Head honored security personnel, drivers, cleaning staff, canteen members, and other employees’ children with awards. At the conclusion of the program, all employees pledged to prioritize the nation’s interests and customer service while working to take the bank to new heights. The program was efficiently conducted by Vijay Bank.
