CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the Mega Retail Credit Outreach organized by the Regional Office of Central Bank of India, Bhopal, a total of 90 sanction letters were distributed to various beneficiaries. During this special camp conducted by the bank, loans totaling approximately ₹41 crore were successfully disbursed, providing significant financial support to local traders, entrepreneurs, farmers, and youth in the region.
On this occasion, Mr. S.S. Murthy, General Manager of Central Bank of India from the Mumbai head office, attended as the chief guest. He was joined on the dais by Regional Head Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and AGM Mr. Sunil Bhardwaj of Arera Hills Branch, who shared details of the program and various banking schemes.
Bank officials stated that the primary aim of this initiative is to extend banking services to villages and underserved sections, ensuring timely financial assistance to strengthen local economic activities, accelerate micro and small enterprises, and create new employment opportunities in the region.
The program was conducted by Chief Manager Mr. Saurabh Mehta, while Chief Manager Mr. Ashish Bansal expressed gratitude to all guests, beneficiaries, and attendees during the closing ceremony. Other bank officials, including Manager Mr. Manish Kumar Bastwar from the regional office, were also present.

The beneficiaries who received sanction letters appreciated the initiative of the Central Bank of India, stating that timely loan approval will enable them to advance their businesses, agricultural activities, and other economic ventures more effectively. The program saw large-scale participation, and during the closing, bank officials emphasized that such Mega Retail Credit Outreach programs would continue to be organized regularly in the future.
