CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : The convocation ceremony for the Integrated Teacher Education Program (B.A. B.Ed.) for the academic session 2025-26 was inaugurated at the Bhopal campus of Central Sanskrit University. The two-week-long program was attended by Professor Ravindra Kanhere, Chairman of AFRC Bhopal, as the Chief Guest, and Professor Anshuman Upadhyay, Deputy Director of IGNOU Bhopal, as the Saraswat Guest. The program was presided over by Professor Ramakant Pandey, Director of the Bhopal campus of Central Sanskrit University.
On this occasion, Professor Govind Pandey, Head of the Department of Education and Co-Director of the Bhopal campus, welcomed the students and all guests and provided details about the different phases of the convocation program.
Professor Ravindra Kanhere explained to the students enrolled in this four-year undergraduate program run by the Sanskrit University about their important role, emphasizing that as students of the teacher education course, they have greater responsibilities compared to other undergraduate students because they are training to become teachers. Therefore, from the very beginning of their course, they need to study with diligence and seriousness.
Professor Anshuman Upadhyay, in his address, informed the students that undergraduate studies form the primary step of university education. In the B.A. B.Ed. program, students study two different programs in an integrated manner, making this course extremely important.
In his presidential address, Professor Ramakant Pandey congratulated the students on joining the integrated teacher education program and highlighted various aspects of Sanskrit University. He stated that students who take Sanskrit as their main subject become more responsible toward society because their learning is not only for themselves but also for the benefit of humanity.
The program coordinators are Somnath Sahu and Krishnakant Tiwari, with Rajni V.G. serving as the coordinator.
