CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Prof. Ramakant Pandey, the esteemed Director of the Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal campus, has been honored with the Sanatan Kavi Award. This honor was conferred on the occasion of Maharshi Patanjali Jayanti Mahotsav by the Uttar Pradesh Nag Kup Shastrarth Samiti, Varanasi, in the name of Sanatan Kavi Acharya Rewa Prasad Dwivedi Award.
Under the guidance of Prof. Pandey, nearly 30 research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degrees. He has directed numerous Sanskrit plays, several of which have been staged internationally.

So far, Prof. Pandey has published about 65 books and 180 research papers. For his expertise in critical analysis and editorial proficiency in published works, he has been honored with nearly 15 awards. He has also contributed to the curriculum development of several universities, including Kurukshetra University and IGNOU.
Prof. Pandey has delivered keynote addresses and research papers at various national seminars organized by different universities across India, and he has also presented lectures abroad in Thailand, London, Ireland, and Nepal.
At present, Prof. Ramakant Pandey serves as the Director of the Bhopal Campus of the Central Sanskrit University, as well as Dean of the Faculty of Language, Literature and Culture, and Chairman of the Council for Natya Shastra Studies.
