CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An inauguration ceremony for Hindi Fortnight was organized at the Bhopal campus of the Central Sanskrit University. This fortnight-long event, conducted under the guidance of the Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, Srinivas Varkhedi, will be held over 15 days and will include various competitions and activities.

The Chief Guest of the event was Shiv Shankar Mishra, Vice-Chancellor of Maharshi Panini Sanskrit & Vedic University, Ujjain. The keynote speaker was Jitendra Singh Rawat, Principal of P.M. Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 03, Bhopal. The program was chaired by the Campus Director Ramakant Pandey. Also present at the occasion were Deputy Director Govind Pandey, Senior Lecturer Subodh Sharma, and all faculty members of the campus.

In his address, Chief Guest Prof. Shiv Shankar Mishra said that the Hindi language needs no recognition—it is a rich and progressive language. He emphasized that the promotion of Hindi also contributes to the propagation of Sanskrit.

Keynote speaker Jitendra Singh Rawat explained the importance of the Hindi language in a simple and accessible manner. Campus Director Ramakant Pandey, who presided over the program, stated that language is the primary medium for the exchange of culture and the fulfillment of all human goals.

The coordinator of the Hindi Fortnight, Archana Dubey, provided complete details about the competitions and activities to be organized during the fortnight and explained the unique characteristics of the Hindi language.
