CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Central Sanskrit University has achieved the 40th rank in the IIRF university ranking at the all-India level. Under the Ministry of Education, Central Sanskrit University has been listed among the top-ranking universities in India based on its excellent performance in numerous criteria. It is the only Sanskrit university to secure a place in the excellent list among all Sanskrit universities in India.

In terms of language universities, it holds the second position in the list. At the all-India level, Central Sanskrit University has secured the 40th rank. Registrar R.G. Murali Krishna mentioned that the total score obtained by Central Sanskrit University is 913/1000, while the topper JNU scored 999/1000.

Central Sanskrit University has made remarkable changes in the last few years in terms of quality teaching, new curricula, scholarships, and employment, significantly enhancing teaching-learning resources, research, and student support. For this recent achievement, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Srinivas Varkhedi, credited all the professors, officers, staff, and students working across all the campuses of the university, including former teachers. This university has also been awarded the A++ category by NAAC.
