CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Mrs. Ila Tiwari, held a review meeting in the Collectorate office conference hall to assess various development works underway in Janpad Panchayats Fanda and Berasia.

The meeting began with a review of Gaushala (cow shelter) operations, where instructions were given to officials to ensure the early registration of unregistered Gaushalas under the Cow Welfare Board. CEO Tiwari directed that Gaushalas lacking adequate electricity and water supply should be prioritized for basic infrastructure arrangements and for housing cattle properly.

During the review of the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, all sub-engineers were instructed to complete assigned works within the stipulated time limit. The CEO also encouraged Janpad Panchayats to motivate villagers to take up floriculture (flower cultivation) and to select 20 beneficiaries each for this initiative. Coordination with the Horticulture Department was emphasized to ensure the availability of plants.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the delay in labor planning and timely payments under the MNREGA scheme, CEO Tiwari directed all concerned officers to accelerate progress and ensure timely disbursement of wages.

The meeting was attended by CEO Janpad Panchayats Shivani Mishra and Devesh Sarathe, E.E. RES Jitendra Ahirwar, Rajkumar Sagar (Assistant Director, Horticulture), Suman Prasad (Deputy Director, Agriculture Department), M.S. Patel (Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry Department), and officers from the Electricity and PHE Departments, along with Assistant Engineers, Sub-Engineers, Secretaries, and Sarpanches.

Discussions also included the review of the new Atal Bhavan (Panchayat Bhavan), with directions to ensure quality construction and timely completion.

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, CEO Tiwari instructed Janpad Panchayats and SBS teams to ensure daily garbage collection in all Gram Panchayats and proper implementation of ‘Wash on Wheels’ as per government guidelines.

During the Gaushala review, the CEO directed the Bagasi Gram Panchayat to remove encroachments and complete pending construction work at the earliest. Notices were also issued to Balampur and Barodi Panchayats to prioritize and complete Gaushala construction and commence operations promptly.

The Electricity Department was instructed to ensure regular power supply to Gaushalas, while the PHE Department was directed to provide adequate water facilities. Panchayats were also given orientation training to develop self-sustainable Gaushalas through innovative practices.
