CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A grand celebration was organized in the auditorium of Rani Dullaiya Memorial Ayurveda College and Hospital on the occasion of Charak Jayanti. The event was inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the worship of Lord Charak by BJP State General Secretary and MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani along with the institution’s founder, Hemant Singh Chauhan.

In his address, Sabnani stated that in today’s modern era, the Ayurvedic teachings of Maharishi Charak have gained even greater significance. The popularity of Ayurveda and the study of its natural elements are increasing, as people are turning to it for improving their health. Yoga has also become a part of daily life for many. He further added that since 2014, there has been continuous research in Ayurveda, and our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi has connected Indian culture with the world. The International Yoga Day is celebrated every year, all thanks to his efforts. Today, the entire world is recognizing the value of Ayurvedic principles, promoting a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Throughout the week, various programs were held at the college to mark Charak Jayanti. Students participated in competitions like body painting, rangoli, poster-making, recitation of shlokas, and reading from the Charak Samhita. The winners were awarded by MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani.

Founder Hemant Singh Chauhan expressed that students of Ayurveda will uphold the principles of Maharishi Charak and contribute to the nation’s development. The event was graced by BJP Mandal President Hemant Badgaiya, Ravi Prakash Singh, Principal of Ayurveda College P.N. Pal Chaudhuri, Vice Principals of Homeopathy and Nursing Colleges Mallika Roy, cultural coordinator Prafulla, Prashant Math, Vice Principal Dinesh Chaudhary, along with faculty members and students. The program was conducted by Suchita Singh.
