Through “Chhattisgarh Archival”, he is compiling people’s old photographs, documents and historical information on one platform. The aim of the effort is to safeguard the state’s social and cultural heritage and pass it on to future generations.
Under this digital initiative, old photographs linked to families, important documents and material related to the changing form of cities are being collected. Through these records, not only are the memories of individual families being preserved, but Chhattisgarh’s social life, local traditions and historical changes are also being documented.
Over time, many old photographs and documents deteriorate or are not kept safely by families. In such a situation, preserving them in digital form is important. Khushal’s initiative is working in this direction so that local history does not remain limited only to books or government records, but also gives space to the memories and experiences of ordinary people.
