Raipur. There is a major opportunity for youths in Chhattisgarh to secure employment. Today, October 8, is the final day of the two-day state-level employment fair being held in Raipur. Organised by the Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Department, the fair is expected to help nearly 10,000 young people get jobs. The event is being held at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium, Budhapara.
So far, information on 9,449 vacant posts has been received from 62 companies and placement agencies for this employment fair. Different posts are available for candidates with qualifications ranging from Class 10 and Class 12 pass to ITI, diploma, graduation, engineering, MBA and MCA. The vacancies include posts related to machine operator, fitter, welder, electrician, computer operator, customer service, sales, banking, healthcare, security, driver and delivery.
Youths participating in the fair have been advised to carry educational certificates, Aadhaar card or other identity proof, biodata, passport-size photographs and certificates related to skills or experience. Candidates should check in advance the eligibility criteria for their desired posts and the required documents.
To participate in the employment fair, candidates must apply online through the “Employment Interested Login” on the e-employment portal and select the available vacancies. Selected youths are planned to be given appointment-related offer letters during the programme on behalf of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Skill Development and Employment Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb.
