CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: CNN Central News and Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News / Agencies: Chhattisgarh has secured first place in the country in the digital verification of unskilled workers, achieving 91.37 percent. Of nearly 80 lakh registered workers in the state, the e-KYC process for 73 lakh has been completed. With this achievement, Chhattisgarh has moved ahead of larger states in the field of digital verification.

Through workers’ e-KYC, their registration and related information are being digitally verified. The objective is to prepare an updated and authenticated record of workers and make the process of delivering benefits of government schemes to eligible beneficiaries more transparent.

The completion of verification for 73 lakh workers in the state so far reflects the extensive progress of this campaign. However, according to the set target, the e-KYC process for the remaining workers is still to be completed.

Chhattisgarh securing first place with a 91.37 percent achievement is being considered significant for the state’s digital administrative efforts. Completion of verification for the remaining workers will help make government records related to workers more organised.
