After rainfall activity weakened in Chhattisgarh, the weather has started turning dry. In many parts of the state, the feeling of cold has increased during the morning and night hours. According to the Meteorological Department forecast, the minimum temperature may fall by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next three days. Because of this, the impact of cold is likely to increase, especially in the morning and late at night.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate rain was recorded at one or two places in the state during the past 24 hours. During this period, the highest rainfall of 4 centimetres was recorded in Kohkameta. However, rainfall activity is now expected to reduce in the state, with clear weather likely in most areas.
Ambikapur coldest at 14.3 degrees
In terms of minimum temperature, Ambikapur was the coldest in the state. The minimum temperature there was recorded at 14.3 degrees Celsius on November 6. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in Raipur and Mana was recorded at 31.1 degrees Celsius. This makes it clear that the effect of heat remains during the day, while the chill has started increasing at night.
Weather to remain clear in Raipur
In the capital Raipur, the sky is expected to remain mainly clear on November 7. The day’s maximum temperature may be around 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 19 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, after the temperature drops over the next three days, no major change is expected.
With this change in the weather, people have started feeling the need to wear light warm clothes in the morning and at night. The effect of cold may remain relatively higher, especially in areas of northern Chhattisgarh.
