Under the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Karmveer Sharma, Industries Department Commissioner Dilip Kumar and Collector Arun Kumar Vishwakarma held a dialogue with industrialists at the Industries Association office in Mandideep, Raisen district, on promoting industrialisation and employment generation.
Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Sharma interacted with entrepreneurs and discussed their problems, suggestions and requirements in detail. During the meeting, he emphasised industrial development, encouraging new investment, employment generation and ensuring that entrepreneurs receive the maximum benefit of the government’s industrial schemes. Municipal Council Chairperson Priyanka Rajendra Agrawal and Hoshangabad Range IG Chandrashekhar Solanki were also present.
Divisional Commissioner Sharma said the government is making continuous efforts to establish new industries and promote industrialisation. Continuous dialogue between industry and the administration gives fresh momentum to industrial development. Ensuring time-bound resolution of entrepreneurs’ problems is a priority of the government so that maximum investment can be attracted and industrial activities can be promoted. He said industrial progress and employment must be increased through collective effort.
The Divisional Commissioner said work should be done with innovative thinking to promote industrialisation. He said efforts should be made to identify which industries or industrial units can be established in the area. For instance, raw material from here is sent to other states, where products are made from it; therefore, work should be done towards setting up industrial units here for manufacturing those products. In addition, enterprises can also be established for manufacturing products or materials meant for export to other countries. He said all possible assistance would be provided at the government level for this.
He told entrepreneurs to keep all necessary arrangements and equipment in their industrial units to prevent fire or other accidents. Strict compliance with prescribed standards and rules for fire prevention and safety is necessary. He also said the policies of the Labour Department must be followed seriously and that there should be no compromise on labour-related rules. He also asked them to follow the necessary rules for women’s safety.
Industries Department Commissioner Dilip Kumar, while speaking with industrialists, said the state government is continuously working to create an industry-friendly environment. The department is working continuously to provide better facilities to entrepreneurs, simplify investment processes and encourage the establishment of new industries. He urged entrepreneurs to expand their industries by taking advantage of various government schemes and create the maximum possible employment opportunities at the local level.
Entrepreneurs present at the programme described the dialogue organised by the Industries Department as a positive initiative and said such dialogue programmes help establish better coordination between the administration and the industrial sector and develop new possibilities for industrial growth. Additional Collector Manoj Upadhyay, other officials and industrialists were present on the occasion.
