CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met India’s Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George, in Tokyo, Japan’s capital. The two discussed the strong and historic ties between India and Japan. Chief Minister Yadav and Ambassador George emphasized strengthening the future relations between Madhya Pradesh and Japan to enhance the trade and economic alliance between the two.
Chief Minister Yadav is on a four-day visit to Japan, which will conclude on Friday, January 31. During this visit, he will invite Japanese industrialists and investors to the Global Investors Summit (GIS) and hold one-on-one discussions to share various investment opportunities. The GIS is scheduled to take place in Bhopal on February 24-25, with investors from several countries expected to attend.
Chief Minister Yadav stated that this marks the beginning of a new chapter in the friendship between Madhya Pradesh and Japan.
Warm Welcome by NRIs
Chief Minister Yadav arrived in Tokyo, Japan, on Tuesday morning, where he received a grand welcome from the Indian diaspora. The NRIs greeted him with a traditional tilak, tied a ceremonial turban, and presented him with a symbolic sword as a gesture of honor.
