Child Health Awareness Program at LN Medical College

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As part of ORS Awareness Week, a public awareness program was successfully organized by the Department of Pediatrics at LN Medical College and JK Hospital.

Through a “role play,” the correct method of preparing ORS solution and managing diarrhea in children was effectively demonstrated.

Postgraduate students and interns from the Department of Pediatrics participated in this educational and social program, informing the general public about the importance of ORS.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. C.M. Reddy (Professor and Head, Department of Pediatrics), Dr. Shweta Anand (Professor, Pediatrics), and Dr. Ankita Marathe (Assistant Professor).

To enhance the significance of the program, the special presence of Medical Director Dr. A.K. Chaudhary and Medical Superintendent Dr. Sarla Menon was notable.

This awareness campaign was a commendable initiative towards promoting child health awareness and disseminating knowledge about simple treatment methods among the general public.
