CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: Students and officials of the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) visited the Balshali Pipes manufacturing unit of AISECT India as part of an industrial tour.
During the visit, the students observed the production units and gained detailed information about modern pipe manufacturing processes, quality control systems and various aspects of industrial operations.
Experts briefed the students on the latest technologies in the manufacturing sector, production management and the skill-based work culture followed in industries. By closely understanding the production process, the students also experienced the actual working style of the industrial sector.
After the industrial visit, a joint tree plantation programme was organised by CIPET students, officials and the Balshali Pipes-AISECT India team. Under the programme, various saplings were planted to spread awareness about environmental protection, green development and a sustainable future. Participants described environmental protection as their social responsibility and resolved to undertake more tree plantation.
On the initiative, AISECT India Executive Vice President Siddharth Chaturvedi said that collaboration between educational institutions and industries is an effective medium for providing students with practical knowledge and real industrial experience. He said such industrial visits give students an opportunity to understand classroom learning in practical terms and prepare them in line with industry expectations. “We are pleased that the CIPET students visited our Balshali Pipes plant and understood the production processes. At the same time, through activities such as tree plantation, they also demonstrated their commitment to environmental protection,” he said.
During the programme, the students and officials appreciated the industrial activities being carried out by AISECT India and described the visit as an informative and inspiring experience.
