CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the campaign “Har Ghar Mitti Ganesh” (Clay Ganesh in Every Home), the national cultural organization Sanskar Bharati organized a clay Ganesh idol-making workshop at Yogendra Auditorium. The workshop was coordinated by the Visual Arts Department of Sanskar Bharati, Madhya Bharat Province.

The chief guest of the program was Vishvas Sarang, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh. In his address, he said that such initiatives help preserve both our traditions and the environment. When children and youth get the opportunity to create idols from clay, it nurtures a sense of belonging and responsibility towards Indian culture.

The purpose of the event was to spread awareness about environmental conservation, the preservation of traditions, and the promotion of local culture. Participants of various age groups, including women and children, enthusiastically crafted Ganesh idols using natural clay and learned how to make beautiful and eco-friendly idols without using Plaster of Paris or chemical colors.

At the end of the workshop, all participants were honored with certificates.

Prominent attendees included Aruna Tai, President of Bhopal Metropolitan Sanskar Bharati; Amarjeet Srivastava, Head of the Visual Arts Department; Sandeep Srivastava, Publicity Head, Madhya Bharat Province; Shekhar Karadkar, Deputy Director, Music Academy; Mrs. Neerja Saxena, Ms. Ruchi Saxena, Jyoti Verma, Pradeep Patel, along with fellow members of the Visual Arts Department and art enthusiasts.
