CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of the Foundation Day and Fortnight of the National Service Scheme (NSS), the NSS Unit of Rabindranath Tagore University organized a physical and mental health camp in its identified village, Chiklod. During the camp, doctors conducted free health check-ups for the villagers, distributed medicines, and provided appropriate medical advice.

In addition, the mental health of students at Government High School, Chiklod was assessed, and psychologist Dr. Shalini Shrotiya provided counseling to the students. On this occasion, Dr. Rekha Gupta addressed the students on the role of youth in creating a healthy environment in their community.

The camp commenced with an awareness rally in the village, led by volunteers Danish Ashraf and Madhu Chauhan. During the rally, volunteers also visited households to motivate villagers to adopt cleanliness practices. Subsequently, under the coordination of State Camper Jyoti Kumari, competitions such as Rangoli and Poster Making on social service were organized among school students.

The event was graced by guests including School In-charge Santosh Dubey, Dr. Anurag Singh Parihar of Niramay Hospital, Homeopathic Medical Officer Bangarsia, and Dr. Sarika Bakoria, who addressed villagers and students and provided guidance on various topics.

The program concluded with dance performances organized by youth social workers Avni Raghuvanshi and Rakhi Kulaste. The successful execution of the program was largely credited to volunteers Ripanshu Kumar, Kunal, Adarsh Raj, Keshav Raj, Pratibha Maithil, Kundan Kumar, Ram Babu, and others.
