Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has stated that Madhya Pradesh will play a crucial role in India’s economic sector in the coming years. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is emerging as a major global economic power. A decade ago, before Prime Minister Modi took office, India ranked 11th in the world economy. Today, it stands as the 5th largest economic power, with efforts underway to further strengthen its position. Madhya Pradesh will significantly contribute to these national efforts.
CM Yadav highlighted that when PM Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he focused on strengthening economic ties with Japan. The country is now benefiting from these efforts. Speaking at a welcome event at Bhopal Airport following his successful Japan visit, CM Yadav shared insights into his trip, emphasizing how Madhya Pradesh has gained recognition due to the Prime Minister’s initiatives over the years.
During his visit, several major Japanese companies expressed interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh. CM Yadav noted that while he primarily visited Japan to invite investors to the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal on February 24-25, he also received investment proposals that could transform the state’s economy.
He further emphasized that Japan shares deep historical and cultural ties with India, particularly due to Buddhism and Emperor Ashoka. The Japanese work ethic, dedication, and commitment to economic progress are values that Madhya Pradesh aims to adopt. Japan’s strong connection with India presents vast opportunities for Madhya Pradesh’s development, potentially making it the number one state in the country.
CM Yadav elaborated on the details of his Japan visit, highlighting the importance of strengthening ties for long-term development. Senior MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma praised the success of CM Yadav’s visit, stating that Madhya Pradesh is on its way to becoming one of the leading states in India. He also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the upcoming Global Investors Summit in Bhopal, and a significant delegation from Japan is expected to participate.
Upon his arrival at the State Hangar in Bhopal, CM Yadav received a grand welcome from ministers, MLAs, public representatives, and citizens, who greeted him with garlands and warm wishes.
