CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi by offering floral tributes at Gandhi Park in Edogawa City, Tokyo, Japan. While reflecting on Mahatma Gandhi’s principle of non-violence, Chief Minister Yadav stated that Bapu’s ideals continue to inspire people across the globe. Connecting Gandhi’s teachings to India-Japan relations, he remarked that Gandhi’s principle of non-violence aligns closely with the teachings of Gautam Buddha in Japan, symbolizing the deep ties between the two nations.
Referring to the heroes of India’s freedom struggle, Chief Minister Yadav said, “Great leaders like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Rash Behari Bose, Swami Vivekananda, and Rabindranath Tagore symbolize the historic friendship shared between India and Japan.”
The Chief Minister also shared important details about the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025, scheduled to be held on February 24-25, 2025, in Madhya Pradesh. He emphasized that Japan is a global leader in technology, presenting new opportunities for investment and trade with India and Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Yadav expressed confidence that the relationship between India and Japan will strengthen further, opening new avenues for collaboration and partnership between the two countries. On this occasion, he extended his best wishes to everyone present.
