CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Taking passenger amenities at Bhopal Railway Station to new heights, the Executive and VIP Lounges were grandly inaugurated on Wednesday by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav. These state-of-the-art lounges have been developed by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

The inauguration ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Minister Vishvas Sarang, Mayor Malti Rai, MLA Atif Aqeel, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Kishan Suryavanshi, and Railway Divisional Manager Debashish Tripathi. Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager of IRCTC, shared insights into the lounge’s features.

Spanning approximately 10,693 square feet, the lounge offers a luxurious environment for relaxation, entertainment, and work. The Executive Lounge can accommodate 200 passengers, while the VIP Lounge has a seating capacity for 100 passengers, both fully air-conditioned.

The lounges include facilities such as nap zones, recliner beds, Wi-Fi, television, bathing rooms, wash-and-change services, makeup mirrors, and newspapers.

The entry fee is ₹50 for the Executive Lounge and ₹100 for the VIP Lounge per person per hour.

Additional premium services such as buffet dining, conference rooms, and luggage handling are also available for passengers.

This initiative is not only expected to enhance the overall passenger experience but also marks a significant achievement for the West Central Railway.
