CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal  /  Raipur : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has issued strict directives to all district collectors and divisional commissioners to ensure timely resolution of pending revenue cases, effectively ending the practice of “postponed hearings.”

Chairing a video conference from Mahanadi Bhavan, Naya Raipur, CM Sai reviewed the implementation of government schemes, progress of development projects, and preparations for the Rajat Mahotsav celebrating 25 years of Chhattisgarh’s formation. He emphasized that repeated summons not only cause financial and personal inconvenience to citizens but also reduce public trust in the system.

CM Sai instructed officials to record all revenue cases in e-court for easier monitoring and tracking, and to expedite processes like name changes, land record corrections, land acquisition, demarcation, and compensation distribution. Special focus was given to national highway and infrastructure projects, particularly in Bastar division, including Narayanpur, Dantewada, Sukma, and Bijapur districts.

Officials were also directed to accelerate farmer registration and digital crop surveys, ensuring citizens receive timely justice and benefits. The CM emphasized transparency, accountability, and efficient governance as essential for a responsible administration.

The Rajat Mahotsav will run for 25 weeks with district-level public participation events, culminating in the Seva Pakhwada from 17 September to 2 October, featuring blood donation camps, health services, and public outreach programs.

Key officials present included Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Finance Secretary Mukesh Bansal, PCCF Sunil Mishra, and secretaries from revenue, public works, and culture departments.
