CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is working in mission mode for the upliftment of every section of society. Welfare for the poor, farmers, youth, and women is among the government’s top priorities. Speaking at an event in Kalapipal on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the Chief Minister emphasized, “We must not rest until every youth gets employment.”
Employment and Empowerment for Youth
The Chief Minister launched the “Yuva Shakti Mission Scheme” for the welfare of the youth. He announced the recruitment of 2.7 lakh government positions in the state and significant steps toward job creation in the private sector. Through Regional Industries Conclaves and international investor roadshows, the state has received investment proposals worth ₹4 lakh crore, which will generate numerous employment opportunities.
Electricity and Water for Farmers’ Irrigation Needs
Dr. Yadav announced 8-10 hours of electricity supply for irrigation purposes and promised to connect 155 villages in the Kalapipal region to the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project. He stated that the irrigation coverage would expand to one crore hectares in the next five years.
Priority on Women Empowerment
The Chief Minister emphasized that women’s empowerment is a top priority for the government. Under the Ladli Behna Scheme, women are receiving monthly financial assistance, which he described as a transformative initiative for improving women’s lives.
Welfare for the Poor and Good Governance
The government is implementing programs such as housing for the poor, the Ujjwala Yojana, and social security pensions with vigor. The Chief Minister highlighted the rise in the state’s per capita income from ₹7,500 in 2003-04 to ₹1.4 lakh today.
Digital Facilities and Administrative Reforms
Through schemes like DigiLocker, students and citizens are gaining access to digital services. Processes like mutation with registration have been simplified under the Cyber Tehsil Scheme.
At the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated development projects worth ₹10.11 crore and made several new announcements for the region. The large crowd welcomed the Chief Minister with great enthusiasm.
