CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: CMHO Reviews Urban Health Programs and Strategies for Upcoming Goals A meeting to review health programs and schemes operating in urban areas was held at Sanjeevani Polyclinic, Kamla Nagar. Medical officers and managerial staff from Urban Primary Health Centers and Sanjeevani Clinics attended the session. The review covered the work completed up to December in the current financial year, and strategies for achieving the remaining targets in the next three months were discussed.
The Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) directed that under the welfare campaign running until January 26, all eligible beneficiaries should have access to Ayushman cards and other services. Interdepartmental coordination and door-to-door outreach by field workers were emphasized to ensure services reach every beneficiary. Institution heads were instructed to provide OPD consultation and treatment services on time.

Maternal Health Program: Early ANC registration, ANC checkups, high-risk identification and management, and immunization.
Family Welfare: Progress in family planning and vaccinations.
Non-Communicable Disease Control Program: Identification, treatment, and follow-up for hypertension and diabetes patients.
Ayushman Cards for Senior Citizens: Monitoring progress in card distribution.
Disease Control Programs: Tuberculosis eradication, leprosy, vector-borne disease control, and blindness control programs.
CMHO Bhopal, Prabhakar Tiwari, highlighted discussions on achieving the remaining financial year targets in the last quarter. Regular meetings of Mahila Arogya Samitis were also instructed to ensure progress and accountability.
