CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: To ensure the timely presence of doctors in health institutions, CMHO Bhopal Dr. Manish Sharma conducted inspections at various health facilities in the city on Thursday. During the inspection, show-cause notices were issued to doctors who were not found present at Civil Dispensary Bagsevania, Urban Primary Health Center Kokta, and Sanjeevani Clinic Habibia School. Additionally, seven days’ salary has been deducted from all these doctors, and information has been sent to the senior office for disciplinary action.

At 9:30 a.m., during inspection of Civil Dispensary Bagsevania, Institution In-charge Dr. Smita Lad was found absent. Dr. Sharma verified her attendance through the Sarthak App and the attendance register. A letter has been sent to the Civil Surgeon for verification of her attendance record for October and its relation to salary withdrawal.

At 10:30 a.m., Medical Officer Dr. Saloni Singh, posted at Urban Primary Health Center Kokta, was found absent despite her attendance being marked on the Sarthak App. A clarification has been sought regarding this discrepancy. Similarly, at 11:30 a.m., Dr. Samreen Khan was issued a notice for not being present at Sanjeevani Clinic, Habibia School.

CMHO Dr. Manish Sharma stated that regular inspections are being conducted to ensure doctors’ attendance during scheduled OPD hours. He added that if no improvement is observed even after three consecutive notices, departmental action will be initiated against the concerned officials.

Furthermore, all officers have been instructed to verify attendance through the Sarthak App before salary disbursement.
