He closely examined the facilities available for homeless and needy individuals during the winter season. The Collector ensured that all necessary provisions to protect residents from the cold were in place at the shelters.
During the inspection, Collector Singh instructed officials to ensure the availability of adequate cleanliness, bedding, blankets, and other essential amenities in the night shelters. He emphasized that every person seeking shelter should be provided with a dignified and safe environment. He also directed regular reviews of the shelter facilities and immediate resolution of any shortcomings.
The Collector further clarified that no needy person should be left to sleep in the open during the winter season and that everyone must be provided shelter in the night shelters. He instructed officials to remain vigilant and act promptly to ensure no individual faces any inconvenience.
