Collector and District Election Officer Priyank Mishra inspected the EVM godown in Bhopal. He carried out a detailed review of the security arrangements, technical management and compliance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) prescribed by the Election Commission of India.
During the inspection, in the presence of representatives of political parties, the three-tier security system, CCTV surveillance, sealing process and arrangements for the safe storage of EVMs were closely examined.
Interacting with representatives of political parties, Collector Mishra said all guidelines of the Commission are being strictly followed to ensure the security and transparency of EVMs. He assured them that the district administration is fully committed to conducting a free, fair and transparent election process.
