CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the chairmanship of Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, a review meeting of the ongoing group water supply schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission was held in the collectorate conference room.

During the meeting, officials informed that two approved group water projects in the district—the Kerwa Group Water Project, covering 74 gram panchayats, and the Halali Group Water Project, covering 36 villages—are progressing rapidly. These projects aim to provide clean drinking water to approximately 2 lakh citizens, with 70% of the work completed so far.

Collector Singh directed the CEO of the District Panchayat to inspect the group tap water projects and instructed the Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) to monitor the single water projects by visiting the beneficiary gram panchayats. He also emphasized the need for holding meetings with public representatives to ensure the progress and quality of the projects. Additionally, he instructed officials to complete the work with high quality and within the stipulated timeline.
