CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Collector Kaushalendra Singh held a meeting with the District Farmers’ Association, where he issued several important directives to officials to ensure timely availability of fertilizers and seeds for farmers.
Collector Singh assigned the responsibility to officials to ensure the availability of fertilizers and seeds and to communicate this information to the farmers. He emphasized that the token system for fertilizer distribution should be kept efficient to avoid unnecessary waiting for farmers. Additionally, he urged the association to raise awareness among farmers about using NPK and urea as alternatives to DAP, assuring them that NPK is of similar quality to DAP.
The meeting also covered topics such as issues related to land mapping, demarcation of roads under Section 250, promotion of agricultural schemes, organization of farmer workshops, and matters related to subsidy schemes.
District Panchayat CEO Rituraj Singh, ADM Prakash Nayak, SDM Aditya Jain, District Farmers’ Association President Girvar Singh Rajput, and other relevant officials were present at the meeting.
