CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A weekly Time Limit (TL) meeting was held in the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh. During the meeting, Collector Singh instructed all SDMs to take necessary action to curb begging in the district. He directed that beggars be sent to rehabilitation centers.
He also reviewed pending revenue cases, CM Helpline matters, departmental letters received within a time limit, and the progress of government schemes. He instructed that work on resolving revenue cases be carried out in campaign mode and directed all tehsils to update records. He stated that he would personally inspect all tehsil courts.
Reviewing the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan, Collector Singh ordered that water conservation and preservation work for the district’s water bodies be completed by June 30. District Panchayat CEO Ms. Ila Tiwari informed that over 700 farm ponds and dug wells are under construction across all village panchayats of Bhopal district.
Instructions were also given to all departments to ensure pit digging in alignment with plantation targets ahead of tree plantation activities. The Forest Department of Bhopal is set to plant around 550,000 saplings, with preparations already underway. The Mining Department was directed to fence ponds and carry out plantation around them.
In addition, SDMs were instructed to hold pre-monsoon flood preparedness meetings and ensure proper arrangements.
Collector Singh instructed the RTO to form joint teams with SDMs and police to launch an intensive campaign to inspect vehicle fitness and other parameters. He also directed for the removal of condemned vehicles from different roads, strict action and seizure of modified cars and bikes causing noise pollution at night, and legal action including seizure of vehicles involved in illegal transportation.
The meeting was attended by District Panchayat CEO Ms. Ila Tiwari, ADM Bhupendra Goyal, and officials from other concerned departments.
