CNN Central News and Network–ITDC India Epress / ITDC News Bhopal: Collector Priyank Mishra conducted a detailed review of preparations for the NEET (UG) Examination-2026 at a meeting held in the Collectorate conference hall. Officials from the concerned departments, including the police administration, health department, transport department and examination management, attended the meeting.
Collector Mishra directed officials to ensure in time all necessary arrangements related to security, traffic, drinking water, power supply, health facilities and other essential services at all 32 examination centres in the district during the examination scheduled on June 21. He said the fair, transparent and व्यवस्थित conduct of the examination is the top priority of the district administration and that any negligence in this matter will not be accepted.
The meeting reviewed preparations for a two-tier security system at examination centres, deployment of adequate police force, separate frisking arrangements for female candidates and crowd management. The Collector also instructed strict compliance with the prescribed protocol for the safe transportation of question papers and smooth management of examination materials.
He asked officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply at all centres, along with generators, clean drinking water, ORS, first-aid kits, medical teams, clean toilets and cloakroom facilities. He also directed that necessary arrangements be made for the convenience of parents and guardians and that proper traffic management be ensured around the examination centres.
Collector Mishra said all departments should work in coordination so that students appearing in the examination do not face any inconvenience and the exam can be conducted peacefully and successfully. He also appealed to NEET candidates to reach their examination centres before time so that they do not face any inconvenience. He further directed that proper seating and drinking water arrangements be made for parents outside all centres.
