CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh has directed officials to expedite construction work under various government schemes and strictly adhere to deadlines. He instructed that all ongoing construction projects should be completed in a phased manner before June.

Today, Commissioner Sanjeev Singh held a review meeting in the conference hall of the Commissioner’s Office to assess the physical progress of construction projects under the Rural Engineering Service (RES) in the Bhopal division. The meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner Vinod Yadav, SE RES Sajjan Singh Chauhan, executive engineers from all districts of the division, and other concerned officials.

During the meeting, Commissioner Singh reviewed the progress of ongoing and approved construction projects under the Janpad Panchayat, the 15th Finance Commission, Gram Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat, and Zila Panchayat levels, MGNREGA, the Chief Minister’s Road and Infrastructure Development Scheme, Anganwadi buildings, Gram Panchayat buildings, and community buildings. He instructed officials to ensure transparency and accountability in the phased execution of construction projects. He also directed that incomplete and uninitiated projects should be completed within the stipulated time.

Director Singh instructed all executive engineers and section engineers of the division to conduct field visits and regularly inspect the quality of ongoing construction projects. Emphasizing the need for a strong monitoring system, he stated that continuous oversight would help track the progress of construction work. He also made it clear that no negligence in construction activities would be tolerated.

While reviewing the Anganwadi building projects, Commissioner Singh directed officials to avoid unnecessary delays in construction. He instructed district Women and Child Development Officers and RES department officials to work in coordination to ensure timely completion of projects.
