CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Barkatullah University celebrated its grand 54th Foundation Day at the auditorium of Gyan Vigyan Bhawan, inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Kishan Suryavanshi, President of the Municipal Corporation, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, with his esteemed presence. The program was organized under the chairmanship of Prof. S.K. Jain, Vice-Chancellor of Barkatullah University, Bhopal. The event began with the lighting of the lamp and a Saraswati Vandana.

On the occasion of the inauguration, special poet Sumit Mishra from Orchha, employee union president Hardev Singh, teachers’ union vice president Professor Anshuja Tiwari, and university employee union general secretary Dhirendra Singh were present. On the 54th Foundation Day of Barkatullah University, Mr. Kishan Suryavanshi honored 162 university employees. In his address, Mr. Suryavanshi reminisced about his memories of the university, stating that he studied at the same university and played the role of a member of the EC core committee. He expressed his delight in participating in the 54th Foundation Day of Barkatullah University and mentioned how the university has been progressing day by day, flying its flag on national and international levels. He assured the employees and unions that he would always stand by them whenever needed and took a pledge with all employees, officers, and teachers to continue working diligently to elevate the university’s reputation to the highest level in the coming years.

In his presidential address, Prof. S.K. Jain stated that they take the pledge to advance Barkatullah University together. On this occasion, teachers, officers, and employees who completed 15, 25, and 35 years of service, as well as permanent employees who completed 20 years of service, were honored.

Special guest poet Sumit Mishra from Orchha, through his presentation, took the university family to an atmosphere filled with patriotism. His poems and compositions depicted Ram in such a way that the university family was emotionally moved. After the poetry presentation, musical performances were given by Dharmendra Jat, Jagat Singh, and Kavita Saxena. The program was conducted by Professor Anshuja Tiwari. On this occasion, all the employees, teachers, and officers of the university were present.
