CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal/ Panna: In-charge Minister of Panna district and Minister of Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH, Inder Singh Parmar, held a review meeting with departmental officials at the Collectorate conference hall. On this occasion, he instructed the officers of construction departments to ensure that all works are completed within the stipulated time frame with quality, and that any issues should be reported immediately.
The meeting was attended by Panna MLA and former Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh, Gunour MLA Rajesh Verma, MLA Brijendra Mishra, Municipal Council President Meena Pandey, Collector Suresh Kumar, along with senior officials.
During the review of the Education Department, Minister Parmar sought updates on scholarship distribution, free uniforms, books, and bicycle distribution. He emphasized repairing schools and establishing a Law College in the old building of Girls’ College, Panna. In reviewing Technical Education, he directed ensuring admissions to vacant seats in Polytechnic College and sending proposals to start a Mining Engineering Diploma course.

While reviewing urban body schemes, he ordered an FIR against the former CMO of Kakrahati Nagar Parishad for irregular payments. He also instructed early completion of tap-water schemes, road restoration, and distribution of relief funds to displaced families.
In the Health Department review, he discussed the appointment of a radiologist for sonography services in the district hospital, upcoming actions for Panna Medical College, and the progress of Anganwadi center constructions. He praised the CSR-funded initiative to provide nutrition baskets and incentives to mothers of malnourished children.
Under the Fisheries Department, discussions included a new office building plan near Benisagar pond, strategies to increase fishermen’s income, and connecting unemployed youth with schemes through the Animal Husbandry Department. The Minister emphasized greater public participation in social campaigns like “Clay Ganesh” and “Plastic-Free Drive.”
He also instructed reviewing the long-pending girls’ hostel construction at Chhatrasal College campus, pending for 15 years. Finally, Minister Parmar directed all officials to ensure that the benefits of the government’s flagship schemes reach every beneficiary in a time-bound manner.
