CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 40th edition of the book ‘Computer Ek Parichay,’ which revolutionized the field of information technology in India, will be launched on January 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center, Bhopal. The Chief Guest of the event will be the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai Patel. Bharat Sharan Singh, Chairperson of the Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, Bhopal, will be the Guest of Honor.
Following the launch, a technical session will be held from 12:15 PM to 2:00 PM. This session will delve into the subject of scientific and technical writing in Hindi. In the first part, senior literary figures and scholars associated with the book will share their experiences.
The panel will include Sharad Chandra Behar, former Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh; Shiv Kumar Awasthi, former Director of the Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy; senior litterateur Ramprakash Tripathi; and senior science writer Santosh Choubey.
The subsequent session will focus on “Challenges in Technical Writing in Science.” Speakers for this session will include S.K. Jain, Vice-Chancellor of Barkatullah University; Sanjay Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Bhoj University; Ashok Kadel, Director of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy; Shiv Nigam, Deputy Director at the Department of Information Technology, Government of India; and Yatin Chaturvedi, science writer at Rabindranath Tagore University. The session will be chaired by Santosh Choubey.
This event is organized by AISECT Publication, Bhopal. ‘Computer Ek Parichay’ is the first book in Hindi on information technology and has been honored with the ‘Meghnad Saha’ award by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, as a ‘National Bestseller.’
Director Santosh Choubey, a senior science writer and Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, authored the book, which has set new standards for technical writing in Hindi. Since its publication, the book has gained immense popularity among students and the general public across the country. It has demonstrated that technical subjects can be explained in Hindi in a simple and engaging manner.
This program is a significant effort to promote scientific and technical writing in Hindi and inspire young people to pursue careers in the field of science.
