CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : The four-day “Abhyuday” program at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCNUJC) recently concluded. The event featured senior experts from cinema, media, and digital technology, who guided students and shared their professional experiences.

On the final day, Vipul K. Rawal, screenwriter of popular films like Rustam and Iqbal, discussed the evolution of the Indian film industry and global cinema. He emphasized that good writers incorporate diverse themes only after understanding the country and highlighted the connection between real-life stories and writing techniques. Senior journalist Anant Vijay noted that film stories reflect societal emotions and stressed the importance of deep analysis for quality film reviews. Brijesh Kumar Singh, senior editor at Network 18, discussed the transformation of print and digital media, emphasizing skill development for students. Senior journalist Balkrishna highlighted credibility, fact-checking, and digital fraud awareness, while NDTV alum Aditi Rajput stressed media’s role in societal change and its responsibilities.

Drone technology expert Chirag Jain shared insights on technical developments and drone usage in media. Advocate Shikha Chhibber informed students about the Indian judicial system and recent laws. University alumna and Kalindi College Associate Professor Dr. Nidhi Arora and filmmaker Sarita Chaurasia shared experiences in student life and careers in the film industry.

The closing session featured Ashok Pandey, former Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, highlighting journalists’ rights and duties. Chancellor Vijay Manohar Tiwari inspired youth to contribute to national development. During the program, the 2025 postgraduate top student, Utsav Thakur, received the late Anil Chaubey Memorial Medal and a cash prize of ₹21,000. The program was coordinated by Gajendra Avasya, Sunita Dwivedi, and Rahul Khadiya, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Registrar P. Shashikala.
