CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “The convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal concluded today at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center in a grand and historic event. The chief guest of the ceremony was IAS Manu Srivastava, Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
He said, ‘Dear students, today you are stepping towards a new beginning. Your hard work and dedication have brought you here, and now it is your responsibility to fully realize your potential. Always remember that challenges are just the beginning of opportunities. Move forward with confidence and perseverance, and leave no stone unturned in achieving your dreams.’
The special guest was IPS Pragya Srivastava. Mr. Abhijeet Banik, founder of ABC Studio, brand consultant, and creative director, along with NIFT Registrar Colonel Vikram Lakhanpal, were also present.
In this grand ceremony, degrees were awarded to the undergraduate students of the 2020-2024 batch and the postgraduate students of the 2022-2024 batch for their academic achievements.
The ceremony began with a special atmosphere of enthusiasm and reverence. NIFT Bhopal’s Director, Lieutenant Colonel Ashish Agarwal, welcomed the chief guest.
In his opening speech, Director Lieutenant Colonel Ashish Agarwal not only highlighted the significance of this unique occasion but also appreciated the hard work and dedication of the students. His inspiring words set the tone for an encouraging start to the ceremony.
As a highlight of the ceremony, 30 students were awarded a Master’s in Fashion Management (MFM), 34 students received degrees in Accessory Design (AD), and 43 students in Textile Design (TD). Each student experienced a sense of pride and joy in receiving the fruits of their hard work and dedication.
The announcement of departmental awards added excitement and joy to the ceremony. In the Textile Design field, awards were announced. The ‘Best Graduation Project’ award was given to Ishali Pandey. The ‘Most Commercially Viable Design Intervention’ honor was received by Shreya Garhwal. The ‘Outstanding Application of Design Methodology’ award was given to Ritika Maheshwari. Additionally, in the NIFT Merit Award list, Rishika Gupta was honored in first place and Ritika Maheshwari in second place. These awards recognized the hard work and creativity of these talented designers.
