Conducting a joint fire mock drill at AIIMS.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Keeping in mind the importance of fire safety and to increase vigilance towards the Indian Fire Service, a joint effort between the Bhopal Police Fire Station and the Fire Department of AIIMS Bhopal organized a fire mock drill.

Mr. Ajay Singh, the Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, emphasized the importance of fire safety, stating that paying attention to small details is crucial. A minor negligence can lead to a major accident. Therefore, we should always remain alert and vigilant. It is also important to be aware of fire control methods so that we can handle any situation effectively.

Employees, students, nursing officers, patients, and visitors of AIIMS Bhopal participated in the mock drill. Through this drill, people were informed about the use of fire safety equipment and how to operate in emergency situations. Officials demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire hydrants, fire alarms, and code red procedures. They also familiarized themselves with the evacuation process during emergencies.
