CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the instructions of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Jeetu Patwari, a meeting was held today at the state Congress headquarters auditorium, led by District/City Congress Committee President Praveen Saxena, to discuss the preparations and strategy for the upcoming Kisan Nyay Yatra scheduled on September 20 in all districts, including Bhopal.
During the meeting, it was decided that the Kisan Nyay Yatra in the state capital, Bhopal, will commence on September 20 at 11 AM from Ratibad Square. The yatra will proceed via Neelbad Square, Suraj Nagar, and Bhadbhada, eventually reaching the Collector’s Office. Thousands of farmers and Congress members will participate, arriving at the Collector’s Office in tractors, four-wheelers, and two-wheelers. They will raise their voices against the government on various issues, including the demand for a support price of ₹6,000 for soybean crops, ₹3,100 for paddy, and ₹2,700 for wheat. Other concerns such as rising incidents of atrocities against women under BJP rule, exorbitant electricity bills, the jeopardizing of youth’s futures, and widespread corruption in the state will also be highlighted.
The meeting was attended by prominent Congress leaders, including State Congress Vice President Rajeev Singh, Yatra In-charge Raghu Parmar, Bhopal District In-charge Manoj Kapoor, District Rural Congress President Anokhi Mansingh Patel, Arun Srivastava, J.P. Dhanopia, Ravi Saxena, Ravindra Singh Jhoomrawala, Asif Zaki, Jitendra Singh Baghel, Vishnu Vishwakarma, Jitendra Pal Singh Raja, Rajendra Mandloi, Abhishek Sharma, Prakash Chouksey, Sitaram Yadav, Dharmendra Rai, Ramswaroop Yadav, Ramraj Tiwari, Anees Guddu, and a large number of Congress members.
